The Azerbaijan Democratic Student Youth Organization (ADTGT), a public association operating in the fields of education, awareness-raising, and the cultural and social development of youth, has started implementing the project titled “Let’s Create Sustainable Peace through Culture!” International Forum. The project is supported financially by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and partnered with the Global Alliance for Intercultural Dialogue. Its aim is to promote Azerbaijan’s policy of dialogue among civilizations and cultures.
The main objective of the project is to support the development of sustainable coexistence, multiculturalism, and a culture of peace among foreign and national civil society institutions within the framework of the “Baku Process” global initiative in the field of intercultural dialogue. This will be achieved through mutual exchange of experience and information, international cultural cooperation, networking, and active youth participation.
Within the framework of the project, the International Forum will be held in Baku on April 6–10 of this year, bringing together 60 NGO leaders and young leaders from 10 countries, as well as representatives of government bodies, international organizations, experts, and media. The program also includes introducing foreign young leaders to Azerbaijan’s globally recognized “Baku Process” initiative, organizing meetings with various institutions, holding panel discussions and interactive sessions on topics such as culture of peace, cultural diplomacy, peacebuilding, and intercultural dialogue, and adopting the Forum Declaration.
