Dubai, UAE — A new streaming venture is preparing to enter the digital entertainment market, with Royal Rapchee announcing December 26, 2026, as the scheduled launch date for its platform in Dubai.

India and the United Arab Emirates will be the first markets targeted by the emerging service, which has outlined plans to offer affordable entertainment subscriptions and explore opportunities for international content partnerships.

Royal Rapchee has proposed monthly subscription plans beginning at Rs10 in India and AED 5 in the UAE, positioning affordability as an important element of its initial market strategy.

The venture is chaired by Humaid Mohamed Alkalbani, with Directors Dharam Gupta & Vinay Kumar is also associated with the platform’s development.

The venture has allocated an initial overall budget of INR 500 crore (Rs5 billion) for the development and expansion of the platform.

According to Al Mudassar News Agency, the company’s broader vision is to establish a digital entertainment destination connecting audiences, content creators and entertainment businesses across international markets.

The platform is being developed under the concept of “A House of Entertainment,” with an emphasis on accessible viewing options and opportunities for future creative collaborations.

India’s inclusion in the first phase reflects the country’s importance to the proposed rollout, while Dubai will serve as the starting point for the venture’s international operations.

The company intends to explore original productions and partnerships with filmmakers, production companies and creative professionals as its operations develop.

However, Royal Rapchee has not yet disclosed its complete programming slate, original titles, distribution agreements or confirmed content partnerships.

Further announcements are expected ahead of the December launch.

The planned entry comes at a time when streaming platforms are competing across different subscription models, content categories and regional audiences.

For an emerging service, competitive pricing may provide an initial point of differentiation, although long-term audience growth will depend on the availability of relevant content, platform performance and consumer demand.

Royal Rapchee has indicated that its ambitions extend beyond its initial UAE and India rollout, with additional international markets to be considered as part of its longer-term strategy.

The December 26 launch is expected to mark the first stage of that expansion, introducing the company’s proposed entertainment model to its initial audiences.
