On february 11, the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani Cultural and Business Center held a presentation of a collection of selected translations from five epic poems “Hamse” and an artistic album translated into Ukrainian on the occasion of the 880th anniversary of the genius Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjhevi.
The book, which includes a collection of selected translations of five epic poems “Hamsa” translated into Ukrainian, prepared by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ukraine, and the art album is TURKSOY.
The event was present by Dusen Kaseinov – Secretary-General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture Turksoy, Elmira Akhundov – Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Azerbaijan Republic to Ukraine, Najaf Ahmedov – Head of the Azerbaijan Congress Bayjans of Dnepropetrovsk.
The event was held on the initiative and organizational support of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ukraine and the Congress of Azerbaijanians of the Dnepropetrovsk region (KADO).
Before the event organized at the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani Cultural and Business Center, created by the Dniprovsk National Technical University, a meeting with the Rector of the University took place. At the meeting, it was emphasized that holding such international cultural events serves as a visit to a bridge between nations.
